Biogas upgrading & industrial refrigeration
What AMB does
Specialist on-site support for installations where process knowledge and hands-on experience come together.
Commissioning
From start-up to stable operation
Commissioning of biogas upgrading plants, CO₂ recovery systems and associated process installations. From I/O checks and functional tests to tuning process parameters, checking safety systems and optimising the installation.
Fault diagnosis
Tackling technical problems at the source
Tracing and resolving faults in biogas upgrading plants, compressors, gas analysis systems and CO₂ recovery. By analysing process measurements, trend data and control systems, deviations are investigated and resolved in a targeted way.
Service & maintenance
Reliable installations, less downtime
Preventive and corrective maintenance on biogas upgrading plants and associated process equipment. From compressor maintenance and component replacement to inspections, checks and periodic service contracts.
Process optimisation
More output from existing installations
Analysing and improving existing biogas upgrading plants. Focused on stable gas quality, optimal process settings, limiting methane losses and efficient operation of compressors and membrane systems.
CO₂ recovery
Technical support for CO₂ recovery plants
Commissioning, fault diagnosis and maintenance on installations for CO₂ recovery, purification and liquefaction. With attention to compressors, drying, cooling processes, gas purity and process stability.
Industrial refrigeration
Refrigeration support for process installations
Maintenance, fault diagnosis and service on industrial refrigeration systems and chillers. With knowledge of both refrigeration and biogas processes, AMB can assess faults and deviations in context. AMB Technical Services holds a BRL100 company certification and an F-gas category 1 personal certificate.
How we work
How an assignment runs
AMB finds the root cause and documents it, so you know what happened and what was changed.
-
Contact & intake
You describe the installation and the issue. You quickly get a clear answer on how AMB can help and what is needed.
-
On-site analysis
Measurements, process data and components are assessed on site until the root cause is clear.
-
Solution & report
Repair or adjustment, plus a clear report with findings and recommendations, so the problem does not return.
Frequently asked questions
What you can expect from AMB
Which installations does AMB work with?
AMB works for operators, OEMs and service organisations with biogas upgrading installations (membrane systems), CO₂ recovery systems and industrial refrigeration. Brand-independent, active in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and across Europe.
What does commissioning by AMB involve?
Commissioning covers the full start-up: I/O checks, tuning of process parameters, validation of safety systems, pressures, temperatures and gas quality. On request, AMB also supports FAT and SAT.
How does AMB approach a fault or process deviation?
AMB works on-site: analysing PLC logging, reviewing trend data, eliminating components one by one. Typical subjects include methane loss, CO₂ slip, H₂S peaks, pressure control, gas drying, THT injection, compressor behaviour and deviating analyser values.
Does AMB work outside the Netherlands?
Yes. AMB is active in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Poland, the UK and France. Based in Oudehaske (Friesland), available for projects across Europe.
What certifications does AMB hold?
AMB is BRL100-certified (refrigeration installations), authorised for F-gases under Regulation (EU) 2024/573, VCA VOL certified (safety) and NEN 3140 VOP certified (electrical actions). See the certification page for details.
How quickly can AMB be on-site in an emergency?
AMB responds as quickly as possible for faults. For urgent situations, call directly on +31 6 57 38 87 61. For regular enquiries, AMB will get back to you as soon as possible.
