AMB Technical Services handles personal data with care. This privacy policy explains which data we process, why, for how long, and what rights you have. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data do we process and why?
- Contact form, email, phone and WhatsApp. Name, company name, email address, phone number, subject and your message. We use this data to answer your question. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to (potential) customers.
- Quote request. Name, company name, job title, country or location of the installation, email address, phone number, type of service and installation, and your description. We use this data to prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- Carrying out an assignment. Contact and billing details and information about the installation and the work. Legal basis: performance of the contract and, for our accounts, our legal (tax) retention obligation.
- Website visits with consent. Only if you accept in the cookie notice do we use Google Analytics to measure how the website is used. Legal basis: your consent. See our cookie policy for details.
- Technical data. On every visit, the web server processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and time of visit. This is needed to display and secure the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.
After submitting a form you receive an automatic confirmation by email. Form data is not stored in a database on the website but forwarded to us by email. We do not use your data for newsletters or marketing and do not make decisions based on automated processing.
How long do we keep your data?
- Questions and quote requests that do not lead to an assignment: no longer than 1 year after the last contact.
- Client data and related accounts: 7 years, due to the statutory tax retention period in the Netherlands.
- Google Analytics data: no longer than 14 months.
Who do we share data with?
We never sell your data. We only share data with parties needed to provide our services and run our website:
- our hosting provider, which runs the website and our email;
- Google (Google Analytics), only with your consent;
- our bookkeeper or accountant, for our financial records;
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you contact us via WhatsApp yourself.
We make agreements on security and confidentiality with parties that process data on our behalf. We also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google and Meta are US companies, so data may be processed in the United States. These companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission considers to offer an adequate level of protection.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The website uses a secure connection (https).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a common format (data portability). If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time, for example via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Send your request to info@amb-tech.nl. We respond within one month. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to verify your identity.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or the authority in your own country.
