A selection of recent work on biogas, CO₂ and refrigeration installations.
A biogas upgrading plant had to be recommissioned and prepared for the 24-hour test for grid injection.
What AMB did: AMB recommissioned the plant, traced and resolved the faults that held up the test, and arranged the required parts on the same day.
The compressor of a liquid CO₂ plant was due for an overhaul.
What AMB did: AMB overhauled the compressor, fixed a leak during start-up and brought the plant back into operation together with the supplier.
At a biogas plant, a high-pressure compressor and a biogas compressor were due for maintenance.
What AMB did: AMB serviced both compressors, replaced parts and improved the settings. A missing part came from our own stock.
Pressure fluctuations caused the flare of a biogas plant to switch on and off repeatedly, and the plant did not run stably.
What AMB did: Together with the suppliers involved, AMB found the cause, adjusted the control and got the plant running stably again.
The chiller that cools the gas at a gas scrubber had a refrigerant leak.
What AMB did: AMB fixed the leak, recharged and adjusted the chiller, and assisted with a modification to the gas analysis.
A biogas upgrading plant could not keep the gas quality stable.
What AMB did: AMB investigated the causes, improved the control at several points and agreed concrete next steps with the client.
