Services and approach

What exactly does AMB do?

Which installations does AMB work on?

AMB Technical Services specialises in biogas upgrading plants, CO₂ recovery systems and industrial refrigeration. Think of membrane systems and CO₂ liquefaction.

In which countries does AMB work?

AMB works throughout Europe and the United Kingdom. Projects have been carried out in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, the UK and Poland, among others. Travel costs are agreed in advance and are part of the quote.

How is AMB different from the plant supplier?

AMB works independently and looks at what the measurements and log data show. AMB works both for operators and together with suppliers, and is also available for a second opinion.

When does it make sense to bring in AMB?

When a plant does not perform as expected, the supplier cannot give a conclusive explanation, commissioning is not being completed, or when you want structured maintenance that goes beyond calendar based inspections.

Does AMB deliver technical reports?

Yes. Afterwards you receive a report of the work carried out, with findings and recommendations. Where needed, a more detailed technical report follows.

Certification and safety

Which certificates does AMB hold?

What is BRL100?

BRL100 is the Dutch assessment guideline for companies working with refrigerants. AMB Technical Services holds a BRL100 company certification and an F-gas category 1 personal certificate for refrigeration work within the applicable certification scope.

Is AMB certified for F-gases?

Yes. AMB holds the legally required F-gas certificate under Regulation (EU) 2024/573, which replaced the earlier Regulation (EU) 517/2014 on 11 March 2024. It is required for work on systems containing fluorinated greenhouse gases such as HFC and PFC refrigerants.

What is VCA VOL?

VCA VOL stands for Safety, Health and Environment at operational supervisor level (comparable to SCC for supervisors). This certificate goes beyond basic VCA: it shows that AMB can also direct others on safety and maintain a safe working environment.

What does NEN 3140 VOP mean?

NEN 3140 VOP (electrically instructed person) authorises the safe execution of simple, clearly defined electrical tasks with limited risk, under the employer's instruction. This is a different level from a skilled person (VP). It is essential for the installation and commissioning of biogas and refrigeration equipment where electrical work is part of the assignment.

Working together and quotes

How does an assignment work?

How do I request a quote?

Through the quote form on this website, or directly by email or phone. Describe the plant, the problem and your location, and you will receive a no obligation proposal. There are no standard rates: approach and price are always tailored to the specific situation.

Does AMB handle emergencies?

Customers with a service contract can reach AMB for breakdowns outside office hours. For new assignments, AMB will get back to you as soon as possible.

Does AMB work with suppliers?

Yes. AMB regularly works with or alongside the plant supplier. In that case AMB's role is independent technical support: the supplier remains responsible for its own system, while AMB provides the analysis and technical expertise needed to solve the problem.
